We've found our first four artists that we really believe in. We're working on their reviews and their "Best Music on the Planet" feature pages. I am now convinced this is going to be a very exciting project. Today I woke up and realised that myself and a few friends - all very qualified and capable - have created "Best Music on the Planet". Not only that, but we've received applicants, critics and fans already, only one week into going 'live'.

It's all a bit much and I'm going to lie down soon. But can I say that I'm very proud of what we're trying to do. Even if we fail, I'm proud of the dream. What spurs us on is the feedback we're getting from some well deserved musicians and music fans who have written with messages of support saying they think the site is a wonderful idea.

But here, in my musings, you can hear background chatter from me, elf, and you'll get to know what's going on behind the scenes. Thoughts, rants, and insight from one of the creators of the site. Before you say 'why don't you use your real name', may I point out that this site is about the artists, not about the presenters. We have no wish to be 'celebrity' presenters. But we thought you might find the occasional diary entry in here quite amusing and interesting.
